Choose letters that suit your coloring plans

The live preview changes as you adjust the settings, so you can try a few combinations before printing. There are three letter styles to choose from: Bubble for fat, rounded letters, Chunky for bold shapes that are easy to color, and Classic for slimmer lettering suited to fine pens.

Start with a first name, try a full name or make a short message such as HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Longer names and multiple words wrap onto extra lines automatically. The generator uses uppercase lettering and supports up to 24 drawable characters, with spaces between words. Check the preview before downloading, especially for names with accents or characters outside the Latin alphabet.

Add stars, hearts, flowers or a party mood

Pick stars and sparkles, hearts, flowers and leaves, party balloons or a space theme. Each adds outlined doodles around the lettering, giving you more little shapes to color. Choose No doodles if you want the name to have the page to itself.

• Use New doodles to rearrange the decorations while keeping the same name and theme.
• Switch between landscape and portrait to suit a wide name sign or an upright page.
• Turn the rounded frame on or off to leave the page bordered or open.

From a name to a printed page

1. Open the name coloring page generator and replace the example name with your own.
2. Choose the letter style, doodles, page orientation and frame. Check that the preview shows the spelling you want.
3. Select A4 or US Letter and your preferred margins, then choose Download PDF.
4. Use Open to print after the PDF is ready, or save the download for later. Check your printer preview before printing.

The page is made in your browser, so you do not need to upload a picture or sign in. You can also choose whether to include the small coloring.at credit in the footer.

Four ways to make it your own

• Bedroom door sign: print a name in landscape, color each letter differently and add your own drawings in the spare spaces.
• Birthday coloring table: make a separate page for each guest, with balloons around their name.
• Classroom art display: let each child decorate their name, then put the finished pages together on a wall.
• A handmade greeting: use a short message, choose hearts or flowers, and write a personal note on the back.

For a simple shared activity, print the same name twice and let two people choose their own colors and patterns. Stripes, dots and tiny pictures inside the letters can make the pages look completely different.
