Is the maze generator free?
Completely. No account, no watermark, no limit on how many mazes you make. It runs in your browser, so it costs us nothing to give away.
Does every maze have a solution?
Yes. The generator builds what mathematicians call a perfect maze: every cell is reachable and there is exactly one route between any two points, so there is always one correct path and no dead loops.
Which size suits which age?
Small (10 x 14) suits about four and up, medium (15 x 21) about six, large (20 x 28) about nine. The extra large 28 x 39 will keep most adults busy for a while.
Can I print the answers?
Tick "Add a solution page" and the PDF gets a second sheet with the route drawn through a lighter copy of the maze.
Can I use these in my classroom or my worksheets?
Yes, for teaching and personal use, freely. Please do not resell the sheets themselves as a product.
